Wicked pose, explosivo! The face re-inforces the subtext of the speech. I like the in your face pointing of the arms. I think the hip swing is a bit off though and his left leg is a little awkward. Its a very rocking pose!
What I like about this pose is that you have applied the animation principle of exaggeration. You have taken the real life reference picture and created something more animated! The shoulder tilt runs out through the strong psychological gesture and is nicely opposed with the head tilt. The wide base of the stance is strong.
The pose could be improved by moving Max's cpre control down to get some bend in the knees and more sense of weight and stability. A slightly stronger curve through his spine from the left hip and up through the left shoulder may enhance the appeal further.

ReplyDeleteGreat pose, has a real extreme hip twist which makes it funny. Good expressions on the face too....You right??
